Licenses to fly into the country from a dozen cities have already been approved; 60 more are awaiting approval. All are for flights into Havana and Varadero airports – in other words, the western half of the country. ITMB already has an exceptionally good map of the entire country. We also have a separate map of Havana. This map expands the scale and opens the information for the western half of the island nation as a double-sided map, with the portion west of Havana (La Habana) to Pinar del Rio province in the far west and south to the Isla de la Juventud (better known, but mis-named, as the Bay of Pigs Invasion Site). This is actually our second attempt at mapping the western portion of Canada; the first covered everything from northwestern Ontario to the Pacific Ocean and, while it was an excellent map, the scale that such a huge area covered necessitated severe problems. In this version, all of British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon have been mapped from fresh digital data and presented at 1:1.4T scale. This would have been impossible when we prepared the first map. The Northwest Territories portion had to be compressed in two ways; first, the scale is 1:2M; second, only the portion with roads is shown. This is still an extremely large area. One has to consider the actual size of Canada when designing a map. Most countries in Europe would fit into this area, which only covers 20% of Canada. Most visitors to the UK fly into one of London's four airports and combine a visit to the city with an opportunity to travel to various destinations within striking distance of London. England is so incredibly rich in heritage and scenic attractions that it is extremely difficult to portray the country as a map of the entire entity. As a result, England lends itself nicely to be divided into a central/northern portion and a southern portion. To fit areas as diverse as Cornwall and Norwich on one sheet, one needs to have a vertical frame, with Devon/Cornwall up to the top of Wales on one side and Wiltshire to Kent up to York (admittedly, not normally considered to be part of 'southern', but vertically, that's what happens.     Following the so-called Arab spring of a few years ago, northern Africa experienced much turbulence. Egypt experienced the overthrow of the government, the installation of a radical religious-oriented replacement, and the installation of military governance. Tourism plummeted. Most map publishers discontinued their maps of the country. Five years later, Egypt has stabilized and tourism is growing. We feel that the time is right to re-introduce our ITMB map of Egypt. This version focuses on the portions of the country that have been re-opened for tourism, which means from the Mediterranean coastline south to the Aswan Dam. The portion further south remains closed for the moment, as is the border crossing with Sudan. We have also been forced to leave off the Great Sand Sea and the Western Desert portions for the same reason of unrest, as the border areas with Libya remain very unstable. However, we have provided a large inset map of Egypt, covering everything, in the area of desert. We …

The first side concentrates on the northern portion of the state, and the other side, the more densely-developed southern half. The map includes a listing of the state’s top attractions, and notes al major touristic attractions. Although gas/petrol stations are commonly found, we have included some gas symbols in remoter parts of Queensland to encourage drivers to venture into roads less travelled. The Andes is a magnificent series of high mountains that enters Colombia and spreads southwards through Ecuador and Peru all the way to southern Patagonia. The map is double-sided, with the Northern Andes on one side and the other side divided into two side-by-side maps portraying the Central Andes and the Southern Andes. Thus, the map coverage focuses on the Andes themselves, rather than on all of South America.     As technology improves, we are able to produce more detailed maps than was previously possible. Such is the case with Ireland, a part of the world consisting of two countries divided by religion and history. Preparing a map of Ireland as a double-sided map means cutting the island into two geographic portions. Side 1 covers the northern half. This includes the portion known as Northern Ireland, or Ulster, and a fair portion of the Republic of Ireland, or Eire; essentially everything north of Dublin and west to Counties Mayo and Galway. Side 2 covers the southern half of the island from just north of Dublin to the outer tips of County Kerry. It also includes a nice inset map of central Dublin. Naturally, all motorways and roads are included, as are touristic attractions, camping/caravan sites, ferry terminals, and Top Attractions.     The Cape to Addo map series covers the southern parts of the Western Cape of South Africa in a series of eight highly detailed maps, printed on four sheets of A1 durable paper.   We start in Cape Town in the west and move along the southern coast through the Overberg, Winelands, Garden Route, Klein Karoo R62, Baviaanskloof to eventually arrive in the Addo National Park up to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in the east.   The maps are highly detailed and well researched. Our map scale is 1:200 000 which allows us to show a lot of detail including minor gravel roads, hiking trails, farm boundaries and points of interest which are relevant to self-drive tourists.   The size of the paper is kept small enough to allow this to be the perfect road tripping map. We use Duraflex paper and print two maps per sheet of A1 paper, making this a four-sheet series. Als overzichtskaart goed te gebruiken.   This is a double sided map with Netherlands & Belgium on 1 side. The Belgium portion occupies other shared with Luxembourg. The map has two covers, one side saying Belgium and Luxembourg, with a cover picture of a town square, and the other side says Netherlands and Belgium, with a cover picture of a windmill. The map's artwork is completely new and different from the previous edition, and much more in keeping with ITMB's style for Europe. Motorways are in blue, main roads in green, and other roads in red casing. Road distances between points are noted, as well as motorway rest areas, and touristic sites such as windmills, noteworthy churches, and camping areas. Height elevations are minimal, but park areas have been shown. The border portion of France is also included, as well as appropriate border portions of Germany. The 'Low Countries' are very interesting for visitors and include canals, historic cities such as Bruges, Leuven, and Liege and the battlefield region of Bastogne and 'The Bulge' this map is also including the West Frisian Islands and adjacent Germany and France with complete index of all cities and towns in the map.   Legend Includes: Roads by classification, Points of Interest, National Parks, Airports, Golf Courses, Beaches, Campsites, Waterfalls, Viewpoints, Fishing Spots, Hospitals, harbours/Ports, Zoos, and much more.
