Goede kaart van Uganda. Aan beide kanten bedrukt. Met veel toeristische aanduidingen als nationale parken en culturele bezienswaardigheden. Prima leesbare kaart. Kampala 1 : 15.000 Uganda at 1:700,000 on a double-sided map from Nelles with a smaller size sheet offering a convenient format for use when travelling. The map also includes a street plan of central Kampala highlighting public buildings and selected accommodation.    The map divides the country north/south with a good overlap between the sides.

Tweetalige kaart (Engels en Duits). Door ingetekende lengte- en breedtegraden is het gebruik van GPS mogelijk. Met hoogtelijnen en uitgebreid wegennetwerk: daarnaast worden ook de afstanden tussen belangrijke plaatsen duidelijk leesbaar weergegeven. Een degelijke kaart van Laos met aanduidingen van o.a. nationale parken, vliegveld, benzinepomp, dirt-roads en kleine plattegronden van Vientiane, Luang Prabang we're very pleased to introduce you to this new, double-sided, map at a great scale, with fantastic detail. To me, the north side is the most interesting, covering the portion of Laos from Vientiane, the capital, to the Chinese border. Detailed inset maps of Vientiane and Louang Prabang, the temple city, are included on this side, as are bits of both Thailand and Vietnam. The south portion fills the other side of the sheet, including a goodly portion of Vietnam, showing all border crossings. Much of Thailand has had to be obscured, unfortunately, to make room for the place names index, but the immediate border areas are shown, including the rail line south from Vientiane. What can I say about Thailand that hasn t already been said? This is our eighth edition of this ever-popular title. It has a new ISBN, as we are gradually replacing our former prefix, but there is modest change on this map. The rail line into Vientiane, Laos, is now shown, and the inset map of Chiang Mai improved, as are insets for Bangkok and Pattaya. The transit map of Bangkok on the back cover has been updated to show the new MTR line. We have done our best to portray this wonderful country accurately, attractively, and beneficially for end users. This is a very good map.

We are always pleased to announce the release of a new title. The Straits of Gibraltar, as this map should be named is historically significant as the crossing point between Europe and North Africa and, more recently, as the guardian of the Mediterranean. It is now moving into a new era – tourism. The city/colony of Gibraltar itself is well worth a visit, and a detailed map is provided. The Spanish city/colony on the North African coast is equally interesting and is also shown, as is Tangier and a good stretch of the Moroccan north coast. This map is printed single-sided, on paper.

Brazil, or more properly, Brasil, is a difficult country to map as a country, in that most of the developed areas are in the relatively small extreme south of the country. The vast region of the Amazon Basin is lightly populated and is not easy to access. Our solution has been to portray the south portion on one side at a detailed scale, to enable such locations as Rio and Sao Paulo a better scale to help travellers, while mapping the north at a respectable but more limited scale on the That said, one still needs both sides of the map, as Brasilia, the capital, falls on the north side other side of the sheet. I should also note that roads north of Brasilia tend to be less well-paved than those in the south. La Belle Province is historically rich, linguistically unique in North America, and attractive for tourism. It is a very large area of land, forcing us to portray the northern portion at a different scale than the more populated southern portion. The map extends to Ottawa in the west and includes most of New Brunswick in the east, as well as all the border areas with the USA to the south. Due to the size of Quebec, the focus of this map is concentrated on providing road information to get around, parks and geographic features, and symbols portraying ski resort areas, urban areas, and road numbers.
