Product Description The Deore shifter SL-M6000 by Shimano with gear indicator - for clamp mounting This Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shifter is equipped with a discreet but easy to read gear indicator. It is 2/3-speed (left) or 10-speed (right) compatible and designed for MTB drivetrains. The handlebar attachment is done with a classic clamp. As with all Rapidfire Plus shifters, the SL-M6000 can shift down up to three gears at a time. In addition, the trigger lever can be operated both with the index finger (pulling) and with the thumb (pushing) known as the 2-Way Release function. In general, the Deore shifter convinces with its smooth, powerful index shifting performance. Its housing is made of aluminium, the two levers are made of plastic or steel. An Optislick inner cable with friction-reducing coating is included in the scope of delivery. Two levers, the main lever and the release lever, are used instead of a twist shifter. Rapidfire Plus shift levers, as the name suggests, ensure fast shifting. In addition, depending on the model, it is possible to downshift up to three gears with one shift stroke. 2-Way-Release With 2-Way-Release, the shifter can be pressed and pulled to shift to the smaller sprocket or chainring.
