Product Description Shimano CUES FC-U4000-2B - Square crank with two chainrings for Boost over locknut dimension The CUES FC-U4000-2B square crankset was designed by Shimano for Linkglide drivetrains on mountain and touring bikes. It is suitable for 2x9-speed, 2x10-speed and 2x11-speed gears and produces a chainline of 51.8 mm further out. This is why frames with the so-called Boost Standard, i.e. an over locknut dimension of 148 mm, are compatible. The Q-factor is 178 mm. The gradation is chosen so that it can be pedalled harmoniously and smoothly on different types of terrain. Due to its stiffness, the crank made of aluminium and steel ensures reliable performance. The four-armed steel chainrings are permanently installed via riveted joints.
