Product Description Shimano CUES FC-U4000-2 - Square crank with two chainrings and chain guard for city, touring and MTB use The CUES square crankset FC-U4000-2, here in the version with chain guard, was designed by Shimano for Linkglide drivetrains on city, touring and mountain bikes. It is suitable for 2x9-speed, 2x10-speed and 2x11-speed gears and produces a chainline of 48.8 mm. Therefore, frame over locknut dimensions of 135 mm and 142 mm are compatible. The Q-factor is 178 mm. The gradation is chosen so that it can be pedalled harmoniously and smoothly on different types of terrain. Due to its stiffness, the crank made of aluminium and steel ensures reliable performance. The four-armed steel chainrings are permanently installed via riveted joints. Thanks to the chain guard, your pants won't get caught between the chainring and the chain while riding.
