These are a flat-mount brake calipers for front or rear and an electronic shift/brake lever that enables wireless 2x or 12-speed shifting and hydraulic braking. The set includes organic brake pads, which contribute to improved heat dissipation with their Ice Tech cooling fins, a brake hose as well as connection material. The 105 R7170 disc brake caliper has 10% more brake pad clearance than its predecessor model. This minimises the likelihood of grinding noises and thus results in a quieter braking process.
