With the Bold Connect you connect your Bold Smart Lock to the internet, after which you can operate the smart cylinder from anywhere in the world. Easily open the door remotely, share (temporary) access with others and deactivate your lock remotely. Handy when you are on your way home and your friends are already at the door or when you want to give guests remote access to their holiday home or Airbnb. Auto-activation for gate and garage doors With the built-in controller in the Connect it is even possible to open a gate, garage door or central door remotely. To do this, connect the Bold Connect to an electric door opener. Set auto-activation in the controller settings and the door will open automatically when you arrive at the door. In the app, the relay interface is programmable for different types of wired electronic controls. Possible settings are: Normally open (NO) versus normally closed (NC), configurable relay output time or ON/OFF mode. The maximum switching current is 3A at 250VAC.
