De Digiface Dante van RME is een lichtgewicht audio-interface en is uitgerust met de Dante-netwerkconnectiviteit. Daarnaast vind je USB 3 en MADI aan boord en wordt de interface geleverd met de uitstekende TotalMix DSP-software. Ook werkt de Digiface in stand-alone modus. Uitgerust met extra netwerkpoorten is de Digiface Dante veel meer dan 'gewoon' een audio-interface. Zo heeft hij een ingebouwde switch zodat je tot 4 netwerklijnen tegelijk kunt gebruiken zonder dat een extra switch benodigd is om verdere distributie mogelijk te maken. Ook handig hieraan is de optie om een redundant netwerk te creëren als backup-oplossing. Zonder het gebruik van de USB-poort schakelt de Digiface automatisch naar een 64-kanaals Danta/MADI converter. Vervolgens kun je als gebruiker de stereo output configureren zodat je exact het aantal kanalen wenst te monitoren die je wilt. De interface wordt gevoed door middel van de USB-poort (bus powered).
