Alle bladen zijn nog niet zo lang geleden vernieuwd. De weergave van het reliëf is erg mooi op deze wegenkaarten. Daarom zijn ze niet alleen geschikt als gedetailleerde autokaart, maar ook als fietskaart. Italie valt in 15 bladen. Touring Club Italiano landkaarten /TCI autokaarten Italië. Ook onder de fietsers - bij gebrek aan echte fietskaarten - staat deze kaartenserie goed aangeschreven: als fietskaart dus prima te gebruiken. De uitgebreide wegenkaarten van Touring Club Italiano zijn zeker een must voor de vakantieganger die Italië met de auto wil verkennen. De Touring Club kaarten zijn voor bijna elke regio verkrijgbaar. Verder wordt er aangegeven waar de mooie plekjes te vinden zijn. De groen onderstreepte plaatsen zijn interessant, plaatsen in een groen kader zijn erg interessant en wanneer er een groen vak om een plaatsnaam is gedrukt, is de plek bijzonder leuk om te bezoeken. Italy is a very densely populated country, requiring sectional maps to portray its complex road/rail network in sufficient detail to make sense. This is a brand new title for ITMB, covering the central portion of the peninsula from Naples north to Florence on side one, and includes a large inset map of Sardinia. Side two covers the vast expanse of the north of the country, from the high alpine valleys of D’Aosta and Trentino to the plains of northern Italy and the coastal provinces of the Mediterranean and Adriatic coastlines. The immediate border areas of France and Switzerland are included, but the extensive plate name index covers most of those countries. Motorways (in blue) tend to be toll highways. Multi-lane highways (in magenta) and principal highways (in green) tend to be non-toll. The red lines are ordinary two-lane roadways, and tend to go through villages every kilometer or so and to follow mountainous contours. The mountainous northern portion of Italy is one of today’s touristic highlights. This is a new title for ITMB and one that required considerable research to accomplish. It not only shows the roads and rail lines in the region, but hotels, castles/fortresses, museums, and a significant number of footpaths. This is the first new map of this important region, covering from Trento in the south to Sterzing-Vipiteno in the north. It also has a Top Attractions list to assist users. The reverse side is a more general map of northeastern Italy from the Slovenian border west to Brescia and from the Swiss border south to Siena, for the assistance of end users. This side has its own Top Attractions list and an outline of the area covered in better detail that is on the other side of the sheet.
