Een kaart die naast het wegennet en plaatsen ook de nadruk legt op de natuurkundige aspecten van het land of gebied. Met kleur worden de verschillende hoogtelagen weergegeven, waardoor je een mooi beeld krijgt van het land. Met symbolen worden bijvoorbeeld benzinepompen aangeduid maar ook stranden. We got lost in Tel Aviv and wasted a lot of time trying to find our way to where we were staying. Although quite good maps of Tel Aviv exist, most are in Hebrew and are very "Israeli". We decided to do a map that combined the newish city of Tel Aviv with its older and more exotic neighbour, Jaffa, which is currently dominated by those of a non-Jewish orientation. Jaffa is the ancient port used by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and traders plying the Silk Road to China. Its old town is quite compact and a treat to explore.…

The mountainous northern portion of Italy is one of today’s touristic highlights. This is a new title for ITMB and one that required considerable research to accomplish. It not only shows the roads and rail lines in the region, but hotels, castles/fortresses, museums, and a significant number of footpaths. This is the first new map of this important region, covering from Trento in the south to Sterzing-Vipiteno in the north. It also has a Top Attractions list to assist users. The reverse side is a more general map of northeastern Italy from the Slovenian border west to Brescia and from the Swiss border south to Siena, for the assistance of end users. This side has its own Top Attractions list and an outline of the area covered in better detail that is on the other side of the sheet.

This title is in our series of regional titles for Africa at 1:3,400,000 scale. All of Africa is available as a continental sheet at 1:5M scale and as regional titles at 1:3.8M and 1:3.4M, based on GIS data. This is a milestone for ITMB and the realization of a dream that began in 1993. However, the work is still only in its early stages. This map covers that portion of the continent that old Africa hands always referred to as 'central', meaning the Rhodesias and Nyasaland now known as Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.   By its shape, generous portions of the southern portions of DEM Congo, the eastern third of Angola, the northern half of Mozambique, and Botswana's Okavunga Delta are included on the one side. The second side covers South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, the rest of Botswana, and southern Namibia in great detail.
