Het kleurgebruik is uitbundig maar niet storend; integendeel, de hoogtes worden meteen duidelijk. De klassificatie van de wegen is behoorlijk uitgebreid, spoorlijnen, veerdiensten staan er op vermeld en met symbolen worden de toeristische bezienswaardigheden aangeven, maar ook bijvoorbeeld wandeltrails en campings.
