Het kleurgebruik is uitbundig maar niet storend; integendeel, de hoogtes worden meteen duidelijk. De klassificatie van de wegen is behoorlijk uitgebreid, spoorlijnen, veerdiensten staan er op vermeld en met symbolen worden de toeristische bezienswaardigheden aangeven, maar ook bijvoorbeeld wandeltrails en campings. Bij dat laatste is handig om te weten dat als er alleen een symbooltje staat van een tent dit ook meestal echt een kleinere camping is in tegenstelling tot een symbool waar ook de caravan wordt weergegeven.
