Deze analoge phaser heeft één speed-regeling, waarmee je eenvoudig van een langzaam tot razendsnel pulserend geluid gaat. Ideaal om je leads net dat beetje extra diepte en sfeer mee te geven. Luister maar eens naar “Overlord” en “Parade of the Dead” van Black Label Society om een indruk te krijgen van dit effect. Met deze Disturbance levert Death By Audio je een inspirerend effectpedaal met een zeer avontuurlijke filter, in de basis een klassieke flanger én 8-stage phaser in één robuuste stompbox-behuizing, waarmee je voorheen ongehoorde gitaar- en/of basgitaarklanken gewoonweg de wereld in kunt slingeren. Eerst kies je het effect waar je als een bezetene mee wilt spelen en trap je het pedaal aan. Vervolgens stel je de wijdsheid en snelheid in met de bekendere width en speed potmeter. De tensity regelaar maakt het mogelijk om de effectstructuur vergaande aan te passen en tegelijkertijd de hoeveelheid feedback van het gekozen effect te bepalen. Ook kun je het geluid van dit effect als het ware bevriezen door de LFO te pauzeren. Wil je andere effectpedalen of juist modules aan sturen met het signaal van de modulatie?
