Text by Nancy Campbell, Scottish poet and winner of Royal Geographical Society Ness Award 2020, and American poet and 2019 Pulitzer Prize winner, Forrest Gander. Tjibbe Hooghiemstra (Tytsjerk, 1957) had exhibitions in The Netherlands and abroad on a regular basis, from the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin and The Model in Sligo (Ireland), to various galleries and art fairs in New York, Basel, Berlin, Paris and Tokyo.
