TAD 7025-WB Highgrade Premium Selected is a low noise, super low microphonic selected version of the 12AX7 that meets all specifications required for the tube to be designated 7025 and SPAX7® The TAD 7025WB Highgrade is tested and meticulously selected for the lowest noise and microphonics for use in the critical first preamp stages of High-Gain guitar amplifiers where noise and microphonics could be an issue.It has a balanced tone with a little emphasis on the upper mid-range that gives a nice string attack and clarity to the sound while retaining a strong and defined bottom end. It will also do equally well in vintage guitar amplifiers. If used in sensitive phono preamps the tube adds freshness to the signal without being harsh or spiky. TAD KT66/4

The TAD KT66 is our remake of the great British KT66 by MOV (MO Valve), GEC, Genalex and Gold Lion. This tube is THE REAL THING. It has a large curved glass envelope and a rounded brown base. It made the Marshall JTM45 Plexi amps famous in the 60's and the Quad Hi-Fi amps a legend. Speaking of legends: SRV used the KT66 in his Fender Amps for his outrageous, gigantic guitar sound.Tube height (without pins): approx. 115mm.Recommended: For a full bodied thick tone with larger headroom, smooth but detailed top end, single channel amps, dynamic playing, vintage British Rock and Roll as well as for the new modern vintage amps 2266 and 2466. It can also replace the 6L6GC and 5881 tubes.

TAD 5751HG

The HIGHGRADE Selection is the tip-of-the-top quality with lowest noise (microphony, hum, hiss) level. Typically only 1-5% out of the whole production yield make it to meet the HIGHGRADE requirements.Especially this low-noise tube is recommended for best clean tone with big bottom, warm midrange and silky top end. Performs great for HiFi too! Replaces any 12AX7A/WA, ECC83, 7025 etc. The TAD 5751 HIGHGRADE is the first choice for vastly improving the clarity, smoothness, and vintage tone character of most guitar amps! It still has plenty of gain so if you have a high-gain preamp that does not have that classic crunch characteristic, the 5751 tube will work wonders.In hifi preamps and CD players, the TAD 5751 HIGHGRADE will lower noise floor and sound smoother and clearer in place of many 12AX7 tubes.

TAD 5Y3GT

Our Small Bottle Rectifier! The rectifier tube for smaller vintage amps like the 5F1 Fender Tweed Champ or the Tweed Deluxe 5E3, especially if somewhat more headroom is required. This tube has a higher output voltage than the 5Y3WGTB (RT513).

It is intended for audio frequency power amplification service in either pentode, ultra-linear or triode connection and single or push-pull/parallel applications.The 6V6GT-CZ has an extended plate voltage range which makes it ideal for higher power amplifiers like Jim Kelly and as an electric reliable substitute for overload conditions which are often seen with guitar amplifiers. Close manufacturing specification tolerances and improved processing provide enhanced reliability and superior sonic performance.The 6V6GT-CZ is designed to be a direct replacement for any 6V6, 6V6GTA, 6V6GTY, 6V6Y, 5871, 7184 or equivalent. Due to the higher voltage withstand the size is enlarged compared to other 6V6 tubes. Tested, selected and matched by TAD in Germany!
