Het is bijna hilarisch om te bedenken wat je met een OM-108 Omnichord kunt doen. Het is zo'n maf apparaat, maar vol met charme, en dermate maf dat het ook wel weer leuk is. Dus wat doe je dan, als doorgewinterde podiumtijger? Je gaat voor je publiek staan, met een Omnichord! En dan kun je deze Suzuki OSB-108 Strap Button goed gebruiken. In feite is 't het idee van een gitaar-strap, maar dan bedoeld voor de OM-108 Omnichord. Klein prijsje, groot plezier!

De OM-108 Omnichord van Suzuki is een remake van een eigenzinnig vintage product uit de beginjaren 80. Het heeft een zekere cool-factor die eigenlijk onvoorspelbaar is. Er is geen zakelijke logica, anders dan dat iedereen erop kan spelen. Maar zelfs voor zo'n product (en goedkoop speelgoed is 't toch allerminst) zou je ook een mooie bijpassende tas wensen. Dat is dus deze Suzuki OGB-108 Gig Bag voor OM-108 Omnichord. Als je met de Omnichord op wilt treden, en zo excentriek is 't apparaat dus wel, dan wil je die tas gewoon hebben.

Tenzij je er al een half leven op hebt zitten is 't goed denkbaar dat je dit apparaat nog nooit gezien hebt. Met een beetje fantasie zou je er een millenium falcon in kunnen zien, maar 't is dus werkelijk een soort keyboard. Ergens zijn er zelfs raakvlakken met een accordeon te noemen. Je drukt een akkoordknop in en met de andere hand veeg je over de touch-strip. Wat je in feite doet is dus strummen, of het spelen van glissando's als op een harp, op basis van het gegeven akkoord. Hierdoor is 't een instrument dat juist heel vermakelijk te bespelen is voor iemand met zeer weinig muzikale ervaring.
