Cardiff is the capital of Wales, and is also an international access point to the UK; a map seems desirable. The city is based at the mouth of the River Taff, with most touristic points being concentrated in the harbour area, the city centre, and a concentration of eateries along Albany Road. Cardiff is shaped by two parallel motorways; the A4232close to the waterfront, and the A48 near the northern extremities. Both are included in our map, which also shows historic sites, hotels, and tourist amenities.     Een degelijke kaart met aanduidingen van o.a. nationale parken, vliegveld, benzinepompen. We are gradually increasing the scales for our data of Great Britain and this is our latest effort. Most visitors to the UK fly into one of London's four airports and combine a visit to the city with an opportunity to travel to various destinations within striking distance of London. England is so incredibly rich in heritage and scenic attractions that it is extremely difficult to portray the country as a map of the entire entity. As a result, England lends itself nicely to be divided into a central/northern portion and a southern portion. To fit areas as diverse as Cornwall and Norwich on one sheet, one needs to have a vertical frame, with Devon/Cornwall up to the top of Wales on one side and Wiltshire to Kent up to York (admittedly, not normally considered to be part of 'southern', but vertically, that's what happens. We are pleased to announce the completion of our regional maps covering Australia with this map of the south-eastern segment of the country. This is the most densely-populated part of Australia, stretching from Lismore in the northeast to the Tasman Sea in the south. It includes all of New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria State, with South Australia as far west as Adelaide. It also shows Tasmania, Australia’s only island state, in good detail, as well as Flinders Island and King Island. The map includes two very large inset maps of Melbourne and of Sydney. This map covers the travel plans of 90% of the visitors travelling around Australia, a continental country that is very difficult to see all of in one trip. The expanded scale we’ve used allows adequate room to include wilderness campgrounds, recreational vehicle parks, ai…

    Australia is a very large country. It is also very unevenly populated, with most of the people living close to the eastern coast. Brisbane is the second-largest city in Australia, and the preferred landing spot for most international flights. This makes Brisbane an attractive point of entry to Australia for visitors. The city has several attractions, which are noted on the map, several transit lines, also noted, and an interesting ferry boat system along the Brisbane River. The city is also the capital of Queensland, which occupies the north-east quarter of the continent and fills the second side of the map. Our map of the state stretches from the northern tip of Cape York to beyond the southern boundary of the state to just south of Sydney, in New South Wales. An inset map of central Sydney is included, but the strength of the map is the fact that Queensland is covered in excellent detail.     The recent 'jasmine revolution' brings real-life reality very close to our consciousness. It is fitting that a new map of Tunisia is coming out just at this momentous time of the country's long history, as the country has long been seen as a small but stable fortress in the sea of shifting sand known as North Africa. Having visited the country, the publishers wish its inhabitants well as they undertake the next leg of their political development, and hope that the 'revolution' won't be hijacked by extremist elements. This map benefits from the research the publishers were able to carry out during their recent visit to Tunisia. They were able to confirm a lot of road information, and improve the information on this map.
