Product Description The X-SYNC 2™ Eagle chainring is radically new. SRAM's engineers studied the performance and wear of thousands of X-SYNC™ chainrings. Chainrings of every size were subjected to every conceivable stress, both in the test lab and off-road. The goal was a chainring that increases the performance of the Eagle groupset under all operating conditions. The result: the chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to perfectly engage the Eagle chain. The new chainring thus increases chain tension and efficiency when pedalling. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.
