Product Description EX1 is the world's first drivetrain system designed specifically for the unique requirements of E-MTBs. Using the proven DNA from the SRAM 1x™ Technology, it provides optimal gear increments for more precise shifting and the best gear range for mid-drive E-MTBs. The EX1 rear derailleur takes the rugged construction and precise shifting characteristics of the X-Horizon™ and combines them into the world's first rear derailleur designed specifically for E-MTBs. The EX1 rear derailleur is designed for high torque and low cadence shifting in an E-Block™ cassette with 11-48 teeth. This enables the rider to shift gears cleanly and reliably at all times, so that he can concentrate better on his journey. Roller Bearing Clutch™: In the new X0 and X9 series rear derailleurs, Roller Bearing Clutch™ Technology ensures that the cage can build tension. A needle bearing prevents any light forward movements, the chain remains under tension and does not hit the strut. This prevents the chain from jumping off even without a chain guide on the crankset.
