Wie vroeger wel eens een OOR, Music Maker of Hitkrant las, heeft ongetwijfeld wel eens een foto van Rob Verhorst voorbij zien komen. Zijn carrière omspant meer dan veertig jaar en in die ruim vier decennia heeft hij zo'n beetje alle groten der aarde op muziekgebied wel voor de lens gehad.Het was tijdens een Pink Floyd concert in 1977 dat zijn liefde voor muziek en zijn passie voor fotografie mooi samenvielen. Vanaf dit moment besloot hij van zijn hobby's zijn werk te maken en na een tijdje kon hij zich bedruipen als professioneel fotograaf.In al die jaren bouwde hij vanzelfsprekend een enorm archief op. Voor “Pink Floyd - The Rob Verhorst Archives” is een deel van dat archief nu eindelijk samen gepubliceerd.
