Product Description The Shimano SL-RS700 shifters - if you don't ride drop bars on your bike The Shimano SL-RS700 is a groupless shifter that can be used to shift either 2-speed at the front or 11-speed at the rear. It was designed for use on road or city bikes with flat handlebars, i.e. without a drop bar. The SL-RS700 is equipped with MTB's Rapidfire Plus technology, allowing multiple gears to be downshifted at once, and features the 2-Way Release function, which allows the release lever to be operated with the index finger (pull) or thumb (push). Also worth noting is Instant Release for super-fast shifting operations, as well as Multi Release for the 11-speed version.
