Product Description The WH-MT500/MT501-CL-B 29" wheel by Shimano - Micro-Spline rear wheel The WH-MT500-CL-B 29" wheel by Shimano is a front wheel with 110 mm over locknut dimension, while the WH-MT501-CL-B 29" is a rear wheel with 148 mm over locknut dimension and a Micro-Spline freehub. Both wheels are suitable for All Mountain use and are based on 24 mm wide aluminium rims, each with 24 double-butted stainless steel spokes. Sealed and greased cone bearings are used in the aluminium hubs, which are characterised by resilience and smooth running. The tried-and-tested Shimano E-Thru thru axle system ensures torsional rigidity and strength under all conditions. Please note that these wheels must be used with a tube.
