Product Description The Shimano shifter SL-RS700-I scores with I-Spec II and 2-Way Release The Shimano SL-RS700 2x11-speed shifter is also available in a version for I-Spec II mounting. This allows the shifter to be mounted on a compatible brake lever, which saves space on the handlebars and also reduces weight. The SL-RS700-I was designed for use on road or city bikes with flat handlebars, i.e. without a drop bar. It is equipped with MTB's Rapidfire Plus technology, so it can downshift several gears at once, and has the 2-Way Release function, which allows the release lever to be operated with the index finger (pull) or thumb (push). Also worth noting is Instant Release for super-fast shifting operations, as well as Multi Release for the 11-speed version.
