It has a so-called Shadow Plus chain stabiliser, which prevents the chain from slapping even on rough ground and thus counteracts chain drop. The flat design and smooth function also contribute to safe, efficient biking, whether on forest soil, gravel or asphalt. The rear derailleur has a total capacity of 39 teeth and is only compatible with 1x gears, with the largest cassette sprocket having a maximum of 50 and a minimum of 48 teeth. To save weight, apart from the steel cage, most parts are made of aluminium. RD-U6000 is approved for e-bikes and impresses with long-lasting performance in this area as well.
