Product Description For the safest ride: the Marathon Winter Plus Wired Studded Tyre by Schwalbe The Marathon Winter gives you full control when traversing icy roads. Even extreme cornering and heavy braking manoeuvres are well controllable. The studs are best able to grip at minimum pressure. Maximum pressure reduces road noise. Studded tyres should be broken in on asphalt for approx. 40 - 50 km at lower air pressure. Sharp acceleration and braking should be avoided. Should you ever lose any studs, you can get your studded tyre back into form with appropriate replacement studs. These are also available in a set with special tools.
