TwinSkin Twin describes an additional rubber coating on the sidewall that protects from cuts and allows a uniform colouring. GreenGuard® Same operating principle as used by the SmartGuard but only approx. 3 mm thick. One third of the highly elastic natural rubber is obtained from recycled latex products. Schwalbe has developed its own process technology for this purpose: In the Schwalbe factories, old products made of natural rubber (such as gloves, tubes, etc.) are shredded and returned to production as the basic material via several process steps. E-Bike Ready 50 For fast e-bikes a special approval of the tyres is necessary. Tyres with ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe are the simplest solution here. All Energizer tyres carry the test mark and are approved for vehicles up to 50 km/h.
