Almost the opposite of his younger brother Shun of Andromeda, Ikki is tough, cold, aggressive, and solitary; his Cosmo is unique, filled with hatred, rage, aggression, and incredible powers, yet guided by his deep love and loyalty to his brother, friends, and to Saori Kido. On the Death Queen Island where he was trained, Ikki witnessed the death of Esmeralda, a young woman he fell in love with during his training, and the death happened because of his failure.
