    De Roland PDQ-8S is een extra stille drumpad, tot wel 75% stiller dan 'gewone' drumpads. Het gaasvel absorbeert snoeiharde rimshots alsof ze niets zijn. De PDQ-8S heeft twee sensors, één voor de rim en één voor het vel. Dat maakt deze pad een uitstekende kandidaat om als snaredrum te gebruiken in je V-Drum setup.
