Use the cleaning oil to remove abrasion and any water that may have penetrated the internally geared hub, and top up the gear oil to ensure that your drivetrain runs smoothly and quietly. If you need a syringe and hose to fill the hub as well as oil, take a look at the oil change kit from Rohloff.
