It has a tensioning capacity of 10 links and, in contrast to the normal Rohloff chain tensioner, has a shortened swivel arm that is screwed to the derailleur hanger so that it cannot twist. As a result, the upper tensioning roller runs very close to the sprocket. This positive guidance guarantees a safe run-in of the chain onto the sprocket even in extreme riding situations. To remove the rear wheel, the fastening screw on the derailleur hanger must be loosened.
