There are three trays form the corner of the insert for storing the wound tokens, the small Voyage of the Beagle tokens, and the additional tokens from the game. There are two large trays, one for the large Voyage of the Beagle tiles and one for the discovery and adventure tokens. As mentioned above the token trays can be used during the game to organize the components and make access by all players easy. This game boards need to be placed in the box in the following sequence. First go the boards and rule book from the Voyage of the Beagle expansion. Then goes the main game board, followed by the first three character sheets. The last character sheet and the scenario sheets go next, with the rulebook going on top of everything to fill the box. The insert design works equally well with the Pegasus Spiele edition of the game which is in a similar box sized 29.4 x 29.4 x 7.2 cm. The images below show how the insert works with this version.
