    Seizoen 6 van Elvis Las Vegas liep van 26 januari tot en met 23 februari 1972. Elvis was zowel fysiek als vocaal in topvorm en hij was weer serieus bezig met optreden. Sommige critici merkten op dat de oudjes razendsnel werden afgeleverd en dat Elvis nauwelijks een woord tussen hen zei tegen het publiek. Maar Elvis meende zaken en Billboard Magazine typeerde het seizoen het beste door te zeggen: "De strakke, snelle, net lang genoeg show had geen zwakke plekken, het minimum van de showroom zeker waard. Presley gaf het publiek wat ze kwamen zien." In 1972 leek Elvis erop gebrand zijn setlists up-to-date te houden, enzovoort.
