Now, Evangelion Unit-01 joins the series as a life-size bust. Three years after the release of the diorama reimagining Unit-01's first battle, this piece emerges as a spin-off that inherits the same core design concept as the previously released Fourth Angel. While the earlier work focused on motion and what has happened, this bust expresses stillness and what is about to happen. Depicted in restraint, Unit-01 awaits deployment-rendered with intricate and dynamic craftsmanship at an imposing height of 86cm, reminiscent of a human torso. The commanding presence of Unit-01 and the surrounding human narratives are brought to life through meticulous sculpting and painting. From the multi-layered armor panels with varied sheens to the weathered textures and the organic gloss inside its open jaw, every detail enriches the upgraded scale with visual density.
