A big step for Iron Studios, a giant leap for collecting!In July 1969, during the manned spaceflight Apollo 11, astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the Lunar Module Eagle, with Armstrong becoming the first human to set foot on the lunar surface, followed by Aldrin. Michael Collins piloted the Command and Service Module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while his companions were on the surface. They collected material to bring back to Earth. The mission was launched on the Saturn V rocket from the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida, being the fifth manned mission of NASA's Apollo program.
