More grip and traction than the 3C MaxxSpeed compound, with less rolling resistance and longer durability than 3C MaxxGrip. At Maxxis, the 3C tread is moulded from three different rubber compounds in one piece and not subsequently assembled from two strips. EXO+ Protection Based on a 60 tpi carcass, EXO+ features the proven EXO sidewall protection and a small butyl insert around the bead. EXO+ ranks between EXO-Protection and DoubleDown carcasses in terms of robustness and weight. Tubeless Ready Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other " tubeless ready" tyres. The bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful for all rims with standard dimensions even during the first inflation and with little liquid. Wide Trail (WT) This design optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tyres are designed for narrower rims and become square on wider rims, resulting in a less than optimal performance.
