It is based on 30 mm deep, welded aluminium rims with first-class aerodynamics and high stability. The hub flanges have large spacing to provide maximum stiffness. Solid industrial bearings and strong, straight aero spokes create a stable connection between rim and hub. At the back there are 2 threads to allow 2 different sprockets to be used on one wheel and to make gear changes faster, which makes training easier. The design for user-friendly clincher tyres also contributes to this.
