Product Description The MT eSTOP Optimized Kit MDR-P 6-bolt by Magura - brake rotor and pads in one The is a set including a brake rotor and matching brake pads for your MT brakes. All components are optimised for use on e-bikes. The MDR-P brake rotor delivers a constant braking effect even under permanently high loads. The patented Dovetail Interlink technology, a special gearing of the outer and inner ring, enables additional support on the inner ring when the outer ring expands thermally. This means that the torque is transmitted not only via the rivets, but over the entire surface. This ensures increased rigidity and direct heat dissipation under continuous load. The new version with a diameter of 220 mm provides around 10% more braking force than a 203 mm model and 20% more than a 180 mm model. The critical temperatures for the pad are reached much later and the higher mass of the brake rotor reduces the risk of brake fading and reduces pad wear by 15 %. The 7.S and 8.S Sport brake pads also provide greater braking power and durability, while shortening the braking time. You need the 7.S brake pads for 2-piston brakes, the 8.S brake pads for 4-piston brakes. Warning: Do not use the brake rotor with a Center Lock adapter!
