The high sophistication of the elves was reflected in the design of their armor and weapons. Their war helmets had the appearance of having been forged from a single slab of bronze alloy, with decorative raised golden tendrils adorning the surface. The noseguards were embossed with the elvish runes, indicating that these soldiers were under the command of Gil-galad, the last king of the Ñoldorin High Elves. This detailed replica is a reproduction of the actual movie prop used in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship from New Line Cinema.
