Rang en reputatie bepalen of jij de buit binnensleept.In Libertalia krijg je per ronde een aantal karakterkaarten, waarvan je er vervolgens per beurt één in moet zetten. Elke speler heeft dezelfde karakterkaarten. De hoogste karakterkaart die op een eiland is geplaatst, wint de buit.
