    Een flinke ketting aan MIDI-thru connecties kan delays opleveren. In vroeger tijden, zeg maar de tijd waarin we voor iedere extra klank een extra synth nodig hadden, was die delay een netelig probleem. Destijds had je MIDI-interfaces die het MIDI-signaal konden vorken, tegenwoordig kunnen we dat met de Dtronics DT-QT. Dit is een heel simpele module, een input met vier thru-outputs. Dit apparaatje is dus vooral erg handig in combinatie met grote hoeveelheden hardware waarvan de communicatie middels DIN-MIDI verloopt, denk aan vintage synthesizers.
