This fret cutter was developed at the factory that has 85 years of history in making cutting pliers by Japanese traditional manufacturing methods.The material is special steel which we call high carbon tool steel.190 mm total length with a 26 mm blade width.Flat and sharp cutting edges makes very flat fret end.This is not suitable for stainless steel frets. Please use H-FC28SS for that.

This concave file has untoothed sides to not damage the fingerboard. The concave part will blend in the fret end with the fret's crown. The radius is 1 mm.The sides have one fine and one superfine file surface as well to use in removing burrs.Length 16 cmThis H-FE1 is for small frets.
