    1 x LP Limited 180g Vinyl Edition (500 copies) with obi stripKarin Jones (geboren en getogen in Philadelphia) zette haar eerste muzikale stappen al zingend in de kerk. Ze was begaafd met een buitengewoon getalenteerd oor en een ervaren pianist, percussionist en drummer, meestal ontwikkeld zonder formele training. In haar vroege tienerjaren vormden Karin en haar twee oudere zussen een soulgroep genaamd The Jonesettes die werd geleid door hun vader. Ze brachten in 1971 een single uit met de titel "Once I Had Love / Stop, Look & listen" op Cougar Records en namen deel aan de gospelklassieker "AfterWhile" van "Rev.
