    Deze ‘spare part’ van Fender is een 500K Ohm potmeter voor gitaren en bassen met één of meer humbucker elementen. Voor single-coils is er ook een aparte 250K uitvoering. Deze logaritmische potmeter is te gebruiken als volume- én toonregeling. De schacht van deze ‘split shaft’ variant is gespleten en voorzien van kartels. Hij is dus bedoeld voor gebruik met ‘push-on’ type knoppen, zoals bij de Stratocaster. U vindt deze potmeter veelal terug in Amerikaanse Fenders, maar hij is ook te gebruiken voor Mexicaanse Fenders en tal van andere merken en modellen. Geleverd inclusief moer, ring en .022mf condensator.

Dus geschikt voor zowel volume- als toonregeling voor instrumenten met single-coil elementen. Deze potmeter wordt gebruikt in alle Amerikaanse Fender instrumenten, maar is tevens geschikt voor ieder ander merk en model.     Dit is de Gibson PPAT-520 Audio Taper Push-Pull Potentiometer (geleverd per stuk). Het gaat om een 500K Ohm split shaft potmeter, bedoeld voor elektrische en semi-akoestische gitaren met humbucker-elementen. Dit type short shaft pot is vooral geschikt voor gitaren die een slagplaat of een vrij ondiepe top hebben zoals bij ST- en TE-stijl solidbodies of bijvoorbeeld bij electric archtops met de potmeters in een verhoogde of los gemonteerde slagplaat. Vaak is een audio taper draaiknop primair de keuze voor volume, maar je kunt hem eveneens gebruiken om een snelle verandering te verkrijgen bij tone. De push-pull functionaliteit van deze potentiometer maakt het mogelijk om te schakelen tussen coil-split, coil-tap, seriële en parallele verbinding van onder andere 4-aderige humbucker-elementen.
