Technology: Liteshield Back Protector The segmented layered structure of the Liteshield back protector, developed originally for motorcycle sports, combines optimal shock absorption with the highest possible comfort. The shock absorption of the Liteshield back protector is almost twice as high as required by CE standards (Maximum Impact Protection). The Liteshield back protector weighs only 145 g (Extra Light). The segmented layer construction (Comfort Layer Construction) allows the back to adapt to the contours of the spine (Adapts flexibly to spine). The shock absorption of the Liteshield back protector is not affected by changing temperatures - proven to be effective at temperatures from +30° to -20° Celsius (Temperature Insensitivity). Liteshield System The heart of the protector backpack system is the extra-wide, ergonomically shaped neoprene hip belt with hoook & loop fastener and a large heavy-duty buckle, which transfers the main load to the hips and thus places it exactly at the body's centre of gravity. The ergonomically cut shoulder straps are particularly comfortable and hold the backpack exactly in the predefined back protection position. The use of air mesh elements, EVA pads with ventilation holes and a large ventilation channel in the centre ensures maximum ventilation. Nylon 210D Ripstop This fabric is abrasion-resistant and yet extremely light. The ripstop construction means that the fabric is divided into segments so that tears cannot get bigger. Nylon 210D is therefore particularly tear-resistant and its PU coating makes it water-repellent. 3D Air Mesh The three-dimensional textured fabric with different thread thicknesses (P75D*30D) provides optimal ventilation and cushioning properties for back panels and shoulder straps. Air Mesh has pores that allow for optimal air circulation, but are small enough to prevent moisture absorption. This characteristic makes it the perfect material for the back parts of evoc protector backpacks. neoprene Known from water sports, neoprene also has optimal properties to suit high-quality backpacks.
