It produces a chainline of 55 mm and has a significantly wider Q-factor of 174 mm. This supports manoeuvrability in aggressive trail riding. The tried-and-tested Hollowtech II construction ensures an ideal ratio of stiffness and weight, especially since everything is done to save as much ballast as possible in the high-end XTR series.
