By the way: At this show Elvis was wearing his then brandnew „Mexican Sundial“-Suit which he seemed to lock away after the short engagement was over - until 1977. We believe that this is a very interesting performance. Elvis is in good mood and delivers a mixture of both his early and his later classics.     AudiRec presenteert met trots: Sahara Tahoe - een gloednieuwe cd die op 10 februari 2017 uit is gekomen. Deze keer hebben we besloten om de waarschijnlijk laatste “luisterbare” Lake Tahoe “Summer of 1971” opname van een Elvis-show uit te brengen. Opgenomen met niet-professionele apparatuur door een vrouwelijke fan in het publiek - op 31 juli 1971 tijdens de Dinner Show - is het de eerste keer dat dit concert op een “echte” cd verkrijgbaar is.Het verblijf van Elvis in het “Sahara Tahoe”-hotel in Lake Tahoe in de zomer van 1971 is helaas niet zo goed gedocumenteerd. Maar hoe dan ook, wat vrij duidelijk lijkt uit de informatie die we in ons onderzoek hebben gevonden, is dat Elvis het erg naar zijn zin had bij zijn eerste optreden op de (vergeleken met het Las Vegas International Hotel) kleinere locatie.
