Product Description DT Swiss 240 Classic Road Centre Lock Disc rear hub - a modernised classic for road bikes In the disc brake version, the 240 Classic Road rear hub from DT Swiss is the state of the art for modern road bikes. This is also due to the new freehub technology from DT Swiss. The Ratchet EXP freehub uses the advantages of a ratchet with 36 teeth. These offer optimum power transmission and prevent undesired idling. Bearings integrated into the threaded rings increase the distance between the bearings. As a result, the axis moves less, which leads to a lower load on the bearings. For this reason the hub is also stiffer. Due to the no-tool concept, you can service the 240 Classic without tools and change the freehub body.
