    In 2023 wordt de 40e verjaardag van Donna Summer's "Hard For The Money"-tour gevierd. Dit concert werd gefilmd en live opgenomen op 6 augustus 1983 in het Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA, met een publiek van 18.000 fans, tijdens de tweede etappe van de tour. De setlist bevat 'MacArthur Park', 'Love Is In Control…', 'Bad Girls' Medley, 'On The Radio' en 'Last Dance', evenals optredens met speciale gasten Musical Youth, haar zussen Dara en Mary Ellen op een verlengde pronkstukversie van 'Woman' en sluit de show af met haar oudste dochter Mimi die 'State Of Independence' ten gehore brengt. Het album bevat ook Donna's spectaculaire live uitvoering van een van haar meest populaire nummers die eerder dat jaar verscheen op de "Flashdance" OST, 'Romeo'.
