Tyres with BlackChili Compound achieve an unprecedented level of performance. The complex compound technology is so sensitive that tyres with BlackChili Compound are produced exclusively at Continental in Korbach, Germany. Vectran Breaker The reference in puncture protection. A synthetically produced high-tech fibre with spun silk as a natural model. Vectran is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multi-fibre yarn. Enormously tear-resistant at the lowest possible weight - just right to be used as puncture protection in a premium tyre by Continental. And this without affecting the rolling resistance.
