It is made of carbon fibres and is therefore light, robust and durable. Sophisticated technology makes it possible for the rear derailleur to always detect exactly which sprocket it is under in order to adjust its position if necessary. This ensures optimum power transfer and reduced wear on the chain. The rear derailleur is powered by an easily removable and rechargeable battery.
