The neck has a dovetail connection already routed. To make the match with the neckblock, this neckblock needs to be routed out.The trussrod needs to be installed and the fingerboard still needs to be fretted. Please choose the frets that you prefer, frets are not supplied with this kit. Boston FW- fretwire is of high quality and several sizes are available.The kit is not finished and needs sanding and finishing.For this kit, quite some knowledge of guitar building is needed to achieve the optimum result.

Boston KIT-ST-15 zelfbouwpakket elektrische gitaar

Het Boston KIT-ST-15 is een zelfbouwpakket waarmee je je eigen elektrische gitaar in elkaar kan zetten. Alle onderdelen worden geleverd, je kan dus meteen aan de slag. De body is van mahonie en volledig speelklaar, op de afwerking na. Je kan dus zelf een lak of vernis kiezen om het hout mee te behandelen, zo creëer je een eigen, uniek design. De drie single coil (enkelspoel) elementen zitten al netjes klaar en gesoldeerd in de slagplaat, net als de pickup switch en de drie potmeters. De esdoorn hals is voorzien van een pau ferro toets (inclusief frets) en een zogenaamde half-paddle headstock. Daarin zijn de uitsparingen voor de tuners al gemaakt, maar de andere kant kan je naar eigen voorkeur vormgeven. Ook de rest van de nodige hardware, schroeven en kabels zit in de prijs inbegrepen, zo kan je op een laagdrempelige manier kennismaken met instrumentbouw, met een gepersonaliseerde elektrische gitaar als eindresultaat.
